About this piece

Design development and fabrication of “high efficiency counterbalanced dual axis solar tracking array frame systems”. Designed and fabricated with rectangular aluminum tubing, waterjet aluminum components, stainless steel and bronze fasteners and bushings with ball screw linear actuators. Glendon Good is author of the design schematics, shop plans, specifications, drawings for provisional patent applications and for structural engineering analysis. Four complete prototype units were designed, engineered and fabricated by Glendon Good at his workshop in Sedona. He also provided shop plans, drawings and fabrication specifications for outside manufacturing of fifth prototype for ground-mounted installation.
